 Great upgrade for a cross bike's cantelevers w/fork shudder, By justsayyes (Northern California) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Tektro 926A Mini L-Pull Brake Black (Misc.) I have a cyclocross bike (not a racer though) equipped with an Easton EC 90-X all carbon fork. Super lightweight. However, the Cane Creek SCX-5 cantelever brakes I had made the fork shudder to the point that I was paranoid about shattering the thing. Installed these mini-v's and now the shudder is virtually gone!So the comments that the stradle cable caused fork shudder with cantelevers and lightweight forks is true - and curable. If your cantelever brakes/fork combination is shuddering - especially so in dry road or trail conditions - run, don't walk, to your computer and buy these. Installation is a snap, but pad setup is a bit of a pain.
