I have used the standard mini mountain wedge with great results. The Hurricane adds slightly more storage space and the light relective band for night safety. The hurricane is great for a standard or light tube ~ a milti tool ~ plastic tire irons ~ and a co2 pump will also squeeze in with an extra cartridge or two and room for an ID & some cash if you have no pockets in your riding shorts. It secures well and has never come loose even in rough terrain. I never feel it when I ride which is important. The standard mini wedge is probably all you would ever need as far as a pack goes and I think it's actually the better size but the hurricane is the ticket for safety with the reflective band if you ride on road after dusk or dark and need a little more space then the standard wedge. It's very well made and keeps it's shape and stays put.
