I was so looking forward to having additional back support while riding my beach cruiser. Unfortunately, the description of product did not supply measurements. I am an adult woman of normal size and weight and the "back" rest was not tall enough to reach my lumbar area and therefore offerred me no relief. It really should be called a "rump" rest. FogDog was very responsive to my complaint.

I ordered this item for my 80 year old dad who had just bought a tricycle for himself and wanted a back rest to make it more comfortable. The other day when I went to visit he had the back rest sitting on his work bench. He had put it on the trike already and tested it out. He was very pleased with it. He had taken it off again because his bike was going into the bike shop to be outfitted with an electric motor. I was slightly hesitant when I ordered the back rest because another review had stated that the back rest did not come up high enough and so was not comfortable. My dad, who is now about 5'11", tried it out and said the back rest was high enough and quite comfortable. Quite satisfied with this product.

I have a son with special needs and this seat back rest helps greatly in allowing him to sit properly and concentrate on driving a bike without extending his back too much. Very comfortable for him due to padding, yet very solidly made. Great product! Delivery came as prommised, very fast
