Testing for a review of U-locks in Maxxim (a men's magazine) found that an angle grinder takes longer to cut through an OnGuard Brute Mini than through Kryptonites Fuggetaboutit.

The Brute Mini is really one mean looking lock. The shackle is a full 18mm thick and, like most OnGuard Ulocks, the crossbar is almost 2" thick.

If I were spending the evening out with a cordless angle-grinder and had to choose between two expensive bikes , one with the Brute and the other with the Fugetaboutit, just on appearances alone, I would definitely start with the Fugetaboutit. Side by side the Brute just looks a lot bigger and bader.

While it does weigh a few more ounces than the Fugetaboutit, if you want to feel like you've gotten the strongest available deterrent to thieves, I believe this is it.
