I wanted something durable, good looking, reasonably light, well-made, and extremely small--just enough room for a spare tube, my small cell phone, house key, and a small wad of cash (my essential cargo). It's a pretty tight fit but it all goes in--barely. This one uses a simple velcro strap around the saddle rails and another strap around the seat post. It is a very stable system and so far the best I have found. You can use the longer strap to compress the bag if it's empty. The design is low profile and doesn't interfere with my legs. The lid opens down so it forms a small shelf to put stuff temporarily - great detail! You can add a small amount of room by unzipping an expansion at the bottom, but not much enough for a tube only.My two gripes are to make the blinkly light attachment with thicker webbing. Also, the zippered expansion is fairly ugly when opened up. |
